Spaces are available for our team or try our Drop-In program.
Drop-In program will be running alongside our VOLT team to let them practice against different players and allow them to participate in actual games. Drop-In sessions are open to players of all abilities. Drop-In VOLT Hockey on Tuesdays from 6-6:45pm Cost is $7.50 per participant, per session. Registration opens online the Wednesday before.
What is Volt Hockey?
Volt hockey is an accessible form of hockey played in specially designed chair that allows people with a variety of physical limitations to participate. Originally founded in Denmark in the 1990s, the sport’s popularity has gained incredible momentum and is now played by over 50 teams across the globe. The Peterborough VOLT Hockey Club will be one of ten in Ontario, established by Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ontario as part of the VOLT Hockey Canada League.
Played on a gymnasium floor by two teams of three, VOLT Hockey offers young people of all abilities a fun and supportive environment to get active, make new friends and create lasting memories.
