YMCA of Peterborough Employment Services

YMCA Employment Services offers free self-directed, independent job search services as well as one-on-one job search support with Case Managers and Employer Liaisons.

Drop-In Services

Drop-in services include computers for job search activities. These can be used for resume and cover letter development as well as internet access to review job postings and apply for employment opportunities. The Resource Centre has free internet and telephone use, as well as printing, copying, scanning, and faxing availability. We also offer hygiene supplies and healthy snacks for clients who need them.

One-on-One Services

One-on-one services include mentoring and coaching, job matching and placement, possible financial incentives, and job retention assistance. Potential re-training opportunities can also be explored through our one-on-one services.

YMCA of Peterborough Employment Services is managed by Muskoka-Kawarthas Employment Services and funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.

Office Hours Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm

Drop in/Resource Centre Hours Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (closed 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm each day for lunch)
