Membership Fee Notice

Dear Valued YMCA Member,

At the YMCA, we are dedicated to supporting your wellness journey and fostering a strong, vibrant community. We truly appreciate your continued support of the YMCA.  As we continually strive to enhance your experience, we want to keep you informed about some important updates.

Beginning October 1, 2024, the provincial government will implement an increase in the minimum wage. This change, combined with rising operational costs, will affect our expenses and necessitates an adjustment to our membership fees. Therefore, effective October 1st, 2024, membership fees will increase in accordance with the chart below.

This adjustment will enable the YMCA to continue to deliver the high-quality programs and services our members expect. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Exciting New Initiatives: We are thrilled to announce the relaunch of our Y Thrive member support and coaching program, designed to provide personalized guidance and enhance your overall experience. Additionally, YMCA Movement Lab group fitness classes will be coming soon, offering innovative and engaging workouts to help you reach your fitness goals.
  • Ongoing Facility Improvements: We remain committed to maintaining and upgrading our facilities. Our ongoing renovations are aimed at creating an even better environment for your workouts and activities.
  • Staff and Volunteer Development: To ensure you receive the highest level of service, we are dedicated to continuously developing and training our staff. This investment in their professional growth allows them to provide you with exceptional support and a positive experience.

Turf Membership – For those who prefer dry land
Surf & Turf Membership – For those who want it all

We’re making it easy to customize your membership to your needs. Our Friendship Membership lets you join with a friend and you both save! No need to live at the same address. You can add children and dependent youth to any of the membership options to customize your membership to your unique needs. With options for everyone grandparents can add grandkids, best friends can join together, etc.
