We wanted to take the time to thank our members who made donations during the closure of our YMCA facilities. When we asked for help and asked you to “stay with us,” you were there. Whether you donated your membership payment, event refund or program refund, we thank you for your belief, commitment and support of the YMCA of Central East Ontario.

This pandemic has affected all of us. It has challenged us to redefine what is important to us. It has changed the way we shop, the way we visit our friends and family, how we work and the way we do business.

Your donation made some of those challenging moments and ever-changing “normals” a little easier for the many people that rely on the YMCA. You allowed us to remain present in our community by offering virtual classes, camp, wellness and health programming to keep people healthy in body, mind and spirit.

In addition, your donation will allow us to prepare for the many families that will require financial support in the months to come. We cannot thank you enough for supporting the YMCA during this challenging and unprecedented time. You have demonstrated our core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and inclusiveness; values that we hold very dear to our hearts. Your support has helped to ensure that we are able to deliver on our charitable mission and mandate, today and in the future.
